My favorite finds:
My goal for this page is to highlight small businesses, and the talent of creators in this field. Whether their products helped with a particular ailment, inspired my own journey creating my apothecary or just made me feel pampered and cared for. Many of these I’ve found on my travels and delighted to share with you here.
EarthCura Apothecary
Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA
This apothecary’s products sparked my interest in herbalism, eventually leading to me starting Amie’s Garden Apothecary. My first purchases were her tinctures of Damiana and Ashwagandha, followed by her essential oil roll-on for allergy headaches, which I still use regularly.
LBCC Historical Apothecary
Beaver Dam, Wisconsin
I found my favorite lip balm by this Apothecary at the Apothecary Museum, in Arlington, Virginia. I love their passion for bringing back old recipes and the design of their product labels make them the perfect gift!
Healing Remedy Lotion and Passionfruit Body ScrubOla Tropical Apothecary
Hilo, Hawaii
Made in Hawaii with plant based ingredients grown in Hawaii.
My favorite product of theirs is their Healing Remedy lotion. Great after sun skincare, which has a sweet sandalwood scent. Soothes the skin after sun exposure and will help your tan last longer.
I found the Ola passion fruit sugar polish after getting a spa treatment on Maui. The product smells amazing and left my dry skin feeling soft and me feeling pampered! I am happy to plug a family run business with products made in Hawaii. This company has been around for 20+ years, so I’m definitely not an early follower but I’m looking forward to trying out more of their products including the Lava Feet Hawaiian Foot Balm and their Ola Pono Volcanic Foot Scrub. They have a rewards program and 15% off your first order.

My latest find, on my trip to Italy in May 2026… a luscious face cream. Made with the olive oil from a region known for ancient olive trees. Its lightweight, nourishing and instantly soothing, perfect for a night cream. The latest on their website is that their online store will open soon, with free shipping to the US. Once this becomes available for purchase online I’ll post more info. In the meantime, if you happen to be traveling to the Puglia, Italy region, you must visit Ostuni and stop by this shop.
