My favorite finds:

My goal for this page is to highlight small businesses, and the talent of creators in this field. Whether their products helped with a particular ailment, inspired my own journey creating my apothecary or just made me feel pampered and cared for. Many of these I’ve found on my travels and delighted to share with you here.

Two brown glass bottles with black dropper caps labeled Earth Cura with herbal remedies, one named Ashwagandha Wellness Tincture and the other Damiana Delight Elixir, placed against a textured wall.

This apothecary’s products sparked my interest in herbalism, eventually leading to me starting Amie’s Garden Apothecary. My first purchases were her tinctures of Damiana and Ashwagandha, followed by her essential oil roll-on for allergy headaches, which I still use regularly.

I found my favorite lip balm by this Apothecary at the Apothecary Museum, in Arlington, Virginia. I love their passion for bringing back old recipes and the design of their product labels are too charming.

Passion Fruit Sugar Polish & Lava Feet Hawaiian Foot Balm

Ola Tropical Apothecary

Hilo, Hawaii

Made in Hawaii with plant based ingredients grown in Hawaii.

I found the Ola passion fruit sugar polish after getting a spa treatment on Maui. The product smells amazing and left my dry skin feeling soft and me feeling pampered! I really love how this company provides ample information on their ingredients, and am happy to plug a family run business with products made in Hawaii. This company has been around for 20+ years, so I’m definitely not an early follower but I’m looking forward to trying out more of their products including the Lava Feet Hawaiian Foot Balm and their Ola Pono Volcanic Foot Scrub. They have a gift set with both products that will save you a few $, a rewards program and 15% off your first order.
